Meter cancellation

IMPORTANT: Through this procedure, you can permanently cancel the water supply to your property, which means that the meter will be removed and there will no longer be a water supply to the property. If you later want to have water again, you must request a new connection and pay the activation and connection fees established in the Municipal Ordinance.

Please remember that upon requesting this procedure, you will receive the final bill corresponding to the consumption recorded between the day of the meter removal and the previous bill.

If you want to change the name on the contract and do not want to stop the supply (for example, property sale), we recommend processing a Change of Ownership at the request of the new owner, which is free of charge.

To cancel a supply contract (with meter removal), you will need:

• ID number of the holder or contract number. You can find it on any of your bills.
• Be up to date with bill payments.

And you must send us the following documentation:

Individuals:

• ID card (DNI) on both sides of the contract holder.
• Cancellation request form duly completed and signed. (Download template)

Legal entities (Companies):

• Articles of incorporation.
• ID card (DNI) of the authorized representative.
• Company CIF.
• Cancellation request form duly completed and signed. (Download template)
